Noam Wiezner
Chairman of the Board, Representative of the Communities

Noam, 39 years old, is a founder and member of the ‘Halom’ community, one of the communities which founded Tene Yerushalmi. He currently servces as Chief of Staff of the Director General of the Ministry of Health. In his previous positions, he served as a senior professional advisor of the Director General of the Ministry of Health, and as CEO of the National Union of Israeli Students (NUIS). He also worked in various other positions within NUIS , including leading its Research Department and managing the Social Involvement Department at the Student Association of the Hebrew University. Married to Ayala, and father of Omer, Yonatan and Nadav.

Elik Almog
Member of the Board of Directors

Elik, 40-years-old, is one of the founders of the Kama community in Be'er Sheva. Formerly co-CEO of Tene Yerushalmi, CEO of ‘Tor Hamidbar’ and today CEO of the startup company ‘OtheReality’. Elik holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy for principals from the Hebrew University. Married to Noam and father of Rona and Ehud.

Nirit Roessler
Member of the Board of Directors

Board Member since 2012. Nirit grew up in the Kiryat Ha’Yovel neighborhood as a child and returned to raise her three children there. Nirit is a strategic resource development consultant who accompanies and advises civil society organizations. Nirit also trains social entrepreneurs in various fields of activity in Israel and Europe with an emphasis on strategic development, resource development and capacity building to create organizational sustainability. Since 2012, Nirit has served as the professional director of the JCU-Culture program in ‘Jerusalem Without Borders’, which trains and accompanies Jerusalemite cultural and art organizations in the fields of management and organization. Nirit is one of the nuclei of the founders of ‘Hamifletzet’ pub in Kiryat Ha’Yovel and serves as a board member for most of its years of operation.

Hamutal Gouri
Member of the Board of Directors

Founder of ‘CONSULT4GOOD’, a company for organizational consulting, group facilitation and storytelling, and a senior fellow at the Kieberstein Institute, which works to promote the feminist field in Jerusalem. Hamutal holds a Master's egree in Cultural Studies from the Hebrew University, and is a graduate of a group facilitation course at the Magid Institute. Hamutal is a Jerusalemite, resident of Kiryat Ha’Yovel, an activist of the ‘Women Wage Peace movement, and of ‘Mothers Against Police Violence’. Very fond of cooking and baking, a partner of Doron and mother of Daniel and Naama.

Shaked Whitefield-Zoref
Member of the Board of Directors

Shaked, 35, has been a member of the board of directors and a partner of the association since its inception. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Hebrew University and a Master's degree in teaching (M. Ed.) with an emphasis on scientific studies. She has been involved in the world of preparatory programs for about 18 years in a variety of positions, and is now a teacher and educator. Mother of three amazing sons - Ziv, Omri and Horesh.

Nitzan Kimchi
Member of the Board of Directors

Originally from Haifa and became a proud Jerusalemite. Married to Rally - cellist and composer, and father to Uri, Ayelet and Gali who live in Jerusalem. Served in the IDF elite unit Shaldag and was a member in the first teams after the unit was established. He is a Clinical psychologist. An Entrepreneur in the fields of industry and tourism. Co-founder of Kata (with Dror Tishler), an international company that was sold in 2010. He co-founded the Abraham Hostel: a world-leading hostel and traveling agency for independent tourism. A business that believes in change and social, economical & environmental impact through business in general, and tourism in particular. Engaged in mentoring and volunteering at a number of NGO's and organizations.

Michal Gomel
Member of the Board of Directors - Representative of the Communities

Michal is a member of the ‘Horesh’ community and a resident of Kiryat Ha’Yoval for the past 15 years. She is a trained Social Worker and manager of the Jerusalem district of the Israeli social workers union. Michal has been working for many years to connect people and communities, and to promote the common good in Israeli society.

Liron ortasse Spiegel
Member of the Board of Directors - Representative of the Communities

Liron, 27 years old, is a member of the ‘Adva’ community, and lives in Katamonim, Jerusalem. She worked at Tene Yerushalmi for 4 years as an instructor and mentor of the 5th class of the Mechina's. She is a graduate of the ‘Telem’ Mechina in Jaffa, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, including a division in Jewish Thought from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She currently specializes in legal advice to the government.

Shalev Kedar
Member of the Board of Directors - Alumni Representative

Shalev, 27 years old, is a graduate of the 2nd class of the Mechina , and a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. Currently he is a undergraduate student at the University of Haifa, the Department of the History of the Land of Israel and the Department of Education. Educator and social entrepreneur. In the past, he managed the Rabin Mechina in Haifa

Tal Kedar
Member of the Board of Directors - Alumni Representative

Tal, 28years-old, a graduate of the 1st class of the Mechina. He is a member of the Board of Directors since 2018, and a member of the ‘Adva’ community, whose founders are graduates of Tene Yerushalmi. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bar Ilan University, and is a graduate of the Mandel Institute for Educational Leadership, Jerusalem. Tal is an officer at the rank of Major in the Artillery Corps of Israeli Military Defence, and has served in various command positions. Husband of Lihi and father of Anava.

Sha'i Shani
Member of the Board of Directors - Alumni Representative

Shai, 27-years-old, is a graduate of the 2nd class of the Mechina, and member of the Board of Directors since 2020. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Jewish Thought from the Academic Center Shalem. Jerusalemite, political and social activist. Engaged in financial education and investments and currently in the process of obtaining an investment management license.

Shira Nagar
Member of the Board of Directors - Alumni Representative

Shira, 27- years- old, is a graduate of the 2nd class of the Mechina and member of the Board of Directors since 2018. Graduate of the secular yeshiva ‘Bina’ in Tel Aviv. Reserve Operations Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Tel Aviv University. She currently goes through her internship at the Ministry of Justice.
